PRESENTATION OF THE FILM/VIDEOS:
All film/videos are presented in digital format on a SONY projection system hooked up to a four-speaker surround stereo system. Films and videos are projected on a 12'x12' screen mounted on the museum’s back plaza exterior. The system works very well. The projection and sound are very clean.

THE EVENT WILL BE JURIED:
Send a copy of your film/video in DVD format only the ASU Art Museum with a brief description, one to three sentences, that can be used for Web.  Include the running time of the project and your complete contact information, including e-mail address, phone number and standard mailing address. There is no entry fee and we don't take bribes, so please keep your money to produce more great work.

John Spiak and Bob Pece juror the projects and make the selections for this year's festival. If chosen, you will be asked to provide a still image from your entry in digital format (.jpg) for the Web and publicity purposes. If selected, you give the ASU Art Museum the right to make copies of your project for promotional purposes. Each promotional tape will include the following text on its exterior: "Copyright held by ASU Art Museum and individual artists." Entries that are chosen for the festival will be kept by the ASU Art Museum. Entries not selected will be kept by the museum unless a self-addressed stamped package is included with the entry for the entries return. The entries will be treated as reference and will not leave the museum to better protect the copyrights of the artists.

AWARDS TO BE WON:
The night of the festival, the audience is asked to vote for their favorite film or video with a ballot they receive on their programs. Votes are counted that night and the next day the winners are announced as that year’s "LeBlanc Audience Choice Award" winners.

"Juror Choice Awards" will be given to projects that have been juried into the festival. They are selected prior to the festival by the jurors.

The "AZ Award" recognizes an outstanding film or video artist living in the state of Arizona. The award will be selected by the jurors.

The awards are in name only, there is NO MONEY OR PRIZES.

NO MESSY PAPER WORK, IT'S EASY TO SUBMIT:
Entering the festival is FREE and easy. Just send your DVD copy with a brief description of the work. Include your contact information with e-mail address, phone numbers and standard mailing address. If you wish for the DVD returned, please include a self-addressed stamped package for the DVD. DVDs without SASE will be retained by the museum. Entires selected for the festival will not be returned and become part of the festival library.

INCLUDE ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBERS:
This may sound obvious, but year in and year out we get entries with no contact information. So please include with your entry a mailing address, phone number and e-mail address.

PRESS AND DUPLICATION OF YOUR WORK:
The ASU Art Museum will make a preview tape of the entire festival. Last year, 50 copies of the festival entries were made for film and art critics to preview the event. By entering the festival, you give the ASU Art Museum permission to make copies of your work for press and educational purposes. If your work is selected for the festival, please send a still so your work is represented as you like. The image will be used for the Web and for press.

NOTIFICATION OF JURY RESULTS:
Everyone who enters the festival will be notified of the jury results by the first week of April. This is an extremely busy period of the festival organization so please be patient.
